The Context
From an Existing Space to a Future-Ready Store
Everessence chose to open its store in Cascais, Portugal, facing a clear challenge: completely transform the existing space without interrupting business operations and while meeting an extremely tight deadline.
A different approach was needed.
Project Objectives
Speed, Quality and Identity
The goal was to reopen the store fully renovated in just three days, while ensuring high-quality finishes and a customer experience fully aligned with the brand identity.
The vision was to create a space that was visually appealing, functional, and capable of surprising customers, while optimizing both time and costs and avoiding demolition work.
“A store designed to impress customers, made possible by the perfect combination of advanced materials and outstanding execution.”
What Was Done
Surface Transformation in Detail
Thanks to 3M architectural wrapping solutions, UPM Group transformed existing surfaces using wood-, stone-, and marble-effect finishes, providing durable and long-lasting results with a lifespan of over 10 years (depending on the product and application conditions).
- Design and Project Management
UPM Group coordinated the entire process as the general contractor, managing timelines, resources, and execution from start to finish. - Surface Renovation
3M materials were applied to existing surfaces, achieving a premium aesthetic without the need for demolition. - Furniture and Finishing Touches
The store was fully fitted out with great attention to detail, including flooring and furnishings designed to reflect the new visual identity. - Branding and Visual Identity
New signage and both interior and exterior visual elements were installed to strengthen brand recognition and create a consistent customer experience.
The Outcome
Three Days, Zero Demolition, Maximum Impact
The store was completely transformed in just three days, reducing project timelines by up to 80% compared to a traditional renovation and lowering costs by 40–60%.
The result is a retail space designed to impress customers from the moment they walk in, featuring durable, premium-looking surfaces achieved through the perfect combination of advanced materials and expert execution.
